By accessing or using KaiLok (kailok.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to use KaiLok only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Scrape or systematically download content without permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the platform.
• Use automated tools to abuse AI features (chat, search) beyond normal use.
• Impersonate others or provide false information.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws.

3. AI-Generated Content

KaiLok uses AI tools to generate synopses, character bios, news articles and search results. This content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee its accuracy and it should not be relied upon as factual reporting. AI-generated content is clearly labelled where applicable.

4. AI Character Chat

KaiLok's character chat feature uses AI to simulate conversations inspired by fictional characters from anime and manga. These characters are the intellectual property of their respective creators, studios and publishers — KaiLok claims no ownership over them.

Character responses are entirely AI-generated and do not represent the views, canon, or official portrayal of the characters or their rights holders. Responses may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or out of character. This feature is provided for fan entertainment only and should not be taken as official content.

5. Intellectual Property

Anime titles, character names, images and related media are the property of their respective owners (studios, publishers, creators). KaiLok does not claim ownership of any third-party content. Data is sourced from AniList under their API terms.

KaiLok's original content — including AI-generated text, platform design, and source code — is owned by KaiLok and may not be reproduced without permission.

6. User Accounts

Accounts are created via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Advertising

KaiLok may display advertisements via Google AdSense. Ad content is provided by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

KaiLok is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of any content on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KaiLok shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of KaiLok after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
